Opening Day
Check-In at Camp Travis is between 4:00 and 5:15pm.
We will help you unload and label your luggage when you get to camp and introduce you to your coach.
Before you take a tour of camp, please take care of the following:
1) Sign in and drop off any missing paperwork at the Outpost
2) Drop off medication and instructions with the camp Nurse at Doc Holiday’s
3) Write and/or leave letters for your camper on the Outpost porch
Closing Day
The gate opens for closing at 9:45am. Closing activities will conclude around 11:15am.
Parents, grandparents and friends are invited for closing day. Upon arrival families will congregate under the covering of the Courthouse (before going to find your camper). While waiting, you may watch the session video, look through the lost and found, order cabin pictures and learn more about our Missions opportunities. You are welcome to load luggage now or wait until later when our staff will be available to carry luggage for you.
Next, you will be ushered down into Lakeview to re-connect with your camper. Here you will see and hear a bit about our week. Then it’s off to the cabins where coaches will share more stories and present camper certificates.
Following cabin time, funnel back up through the Courthouse for Express registration, luggage pick up, mom’s chance 
to shop in the Travis Trading Post (our camp store) and the final good bye.
Accommodations
The closest accommodations to Camp Travis are in Austin or Marble Falls for anyone needing to make reservations on Friday night prior to the camp closing day.
