  • 30 years of Christ-Centered Adventure
  • 4 to 1 Staff to Camper Ratio
  • Life-impacting experiences focused on growing our campers spiritually, socially and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52)
  • Lake and Land Adventures with a "Think Twice" approach ... seeing Christ in ALL we do while learning listening, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Play with purpose during creative theme nights with over the top programming
  • Biblical training through studying the book of James
  • Equipping teens to impact their world for Christ.

It’s a teenagers paradise! High adventure activities on land and water and outrageously crazy theme nights take campers out of their tough world and into a week where everyone is accepted for the person God created them to be. Built to complement both the adventure and hang-time side of teenagers, Camp Travis is a unique place to explore, play, laugh, relax and learn from peers and counselors.

Our summer staff, we call them Coaches, are hand-picked because of their commitment to Christ and their desire to walk alongside teens and encourage growth by modeling a Christ-like walk 24/7. They are trained to safely encourage and guide campers to reach out and try new adventures and develop healthy relationships. They are there to listen to campers and help them purpose.

Mornings start slow with time in God’s word and our Bible study tool we call First Fruits. First Fruits takes a deep look into a different New Testament book each summer and equips campers to individually study it and claim their own faith. It’s written just for our teen campers and it’s packed with guided truth that speaks to the challenges they feel in this fast paced world we live in.

Days are filled with high adventure. Campers can climb Ft. Bragg, ski behind a Nautique, saddle a horse, fly across the Watering Hole (pool) on an circus-like trapeze, compete in the Travis Triathlon, sail Lake Travis and much much more! Theme nights combined with one's imagination quickly transition evenings into another decade, country or popular movie set with unthinkable themed extravaganzas! It’s sure to engage all campers into memories they will keep for a lifetime!

The lights eventually turn low during Main Thing and praise and worship fills Lakeview ... a special place at camp where the main thing (God) is the main thing! Every night the campers are challenged to think deep, to think hard and to think real about the truths presented through the day. With new friendships and relentless encouragement, our desire is to help every teen find purpose and leave our gates refreshed physically, spiritually and emotionally knowing they are His beloved.

Theme Nights

At night camp gets transformed. From a military battle field to a country hoe down our theme nights (parties) take campers to an exciting world that few get to experience. Each summer we develop brand new theme nights where campers play fun games, dress up in costumes and have the time of their lives.
