Greetings T Bar M Mission Adventure Team,

The team is safe and sound in Nicaragua! Here's two text messages I received from Keith's phone (I'll keep the original text message ... you can decipher :-) )

Text message #1 ... sent Saturday night

Headed to bed. All is well. Had lunch tour of manauga rested then dinner at the guesthouse and short orientation meeting praside and worship. Head to village tomorrow.

Text message #2 ... sent Sunday mid-morning by Anna

Headed out 2 village now. All is well. We r excited & ready. Don't no if have service once there. We'll try. Love 2 al tks 4 prayin. Lov anna

Always great to hear from the team. The stories will come a little later.

Hello parents and friends,

Got another text message from Keith late last night.

Text message

Had a great service tonight. Pastor said he had vision 10 years ago that a team from north america would come to this village in 10 years. He was pretty excited. Tomorrow we visit homes in the am and then do day camp in the afternoon. Not much space to work with. Should have over 100 kids. Pray for us.

So the adventure continues! I can't wait to see how God increases their space to love on 100 kids!

As you pray for the team, I challenge you to look for opportunities to love God and love others where ever you may be today!

Hello parents and friends,

Got a phone call from Keith (11pm). The connection was bad. He actually had to call three different times. This is what I gathered.

This morning they split into several teams and went door to door visiting with the families in the village. The weather is hot but there is a constant wind that keeps it from being too bad. From 2-5 they got to have Day Camp with about 60 kids. He said that everyone did a great job and had a good time. After dinner, everyone went to their homes and played with their "host" family. Keith taught his family how to play Trouble. Most will be sleeping in tents just outside the family's place. Tomorrow they are looking forward to having more kids and Wednesday night they are scheduled to have a big church service.

So that's all for now. Everyone is healthy and it sounds like they are having a good time. Hope to give you more news tomorrow!

Hello parents and friends,

Got a text from Keith to share with you.

Had over 70 kids today. Also worked with 17 older kids this am. Everyone is doing well and enjoying their time with their familites. Dust and dirt are the biggest issues. Everything and everyone is covered in dust. Tomorrow we go to manauga in the am for team time and a good lunch. Back for camp at 2. Thanks for the prayers.

Sounds like the team is really going to appreciate good showers when they return.

Please continue praying that relationships will be built and hearts will be receptive to God's love and the hope of the message of Jesus Christ.

Hello parents and friends,

Here's what the team had to say today!

Another great day. Had dominos pizza for lunch in Managua during our staff break. Did camp again with 60ish kids. Went to church in another village about 3 miles away. Rode in the back of a cattle truck to get there. Got all covered in dust. Sean preached the message. Will be lots of tears as we depart late tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be their last day of camp. Please pray that God's word would be heard clearly before they leave.
