Family Camp Director
Born and raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Rachel's happy place is hiking through forests and mountains. As she was growing up, Rachel attended kids camp and student camp every summer with her church. As soon as she was old enough, she became a camp counselor. She was blessed to be mentored by a pastor who had a vision and a heart for all that God can do in people's lives through camp.
She attended Baylor University (Sic 'Em!!!!) where she met her husband, Greg. She likes to say she "heard him across a crowded room." Once you meet him, that makes more sense. After they were married, she and Greg attended Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth and went on to serve in several churches across Texas. Rachel has worked in kids ministry, student ministry and parents/marriage ministry. Additionally, since 2014, she's also worked for Linger Conference. Rachel is excited to bring her experiences and her passions to Family Camp! No fun will be wasted.
She's immensely proud of her two kids who are now a Patriot (DBU) and a Razorback. Go Pats! And Woo Pig Sooie! In case you are wondering...empty nest life is good!
On Saturdays when camp is not in session, you can find Rachel, her family and her dogs exploring local parks or sampling all the farmer's market freebies at the Pearl.
