Parenting 101: NextTalk

Parents, are you ready for the ‘next talk’ with your kids? This weekend is for you to get away and get equipped to walk alongside your kids as they navigate the daunting world at their fingertips.

February 8 - 10, 2019

Whether the ‘next talk’ is about sex, pornography, body image, social media, peer pressure… and the list goes on, this weekend is designed to equip you as the parent to come alongside your kids in open communication and with Biblical Truth when it comes to all of these complicated topics. We’re partnering with our friends at NextTalk to bring you three sessions of solid teaching mixed in with plenty of good ‘ole camp fun!

Plan to come sans kids! This one is for the parents to come, learn, grow and play.

Are you ready for the next question?

This can be a daunting question for a lot of parents! That next talk might be about sex, pornography, drugs, trading nudes, screen addiction, suicide, social media, body image, sexuality, transgender, academic or athletic pressures, bullying … and the list goes on. Our kids are asking complicated questions at a much younger age than ever before. We’re parenting and teaching in the digital age, which creates a whole new frontier of challenges. The rapidly changing social media platforms and apps in this screen-crazed world put us in chartered territory.

T Bar M is excited to partner with NextTalk encouraging parenting who see a need in their own families. Cyberparenting is not about sheltering. So how do we keep our kids safe online? The answer: open communication. It seems simple, but the process of achieving it is very complicated
